Pre-conference workshop

Fluid Inclusions Study: Principles and Application. The Jacques Touret Legacy

June 27-29

WORK IN PROGRESS

Fluid inclusions provide indispensable information about geological processes, from high temperatures and pressures at depth towards low temperatures near the Earth’s surface. Examples of magmatic fluids, hydrothermal ore deposits, metamorphism, and diagenesis are discussed. The course is meant for any earth scientist, either student or professional, who has not been in touch with fluid inclusions and wants to include this exciting and varied topic in their future research.
