Dedicated to Jacques Touret

Jacques Touret (1936-2024) was a pioneer in the field of fluid inclusions and their applications in high-grade metamorphic rocks. His dedication and passion for studying "minute bubbles" in rocks from the depths of the Earth made him an eminent figure in geology. His career spanned decades of teaching and research at prestigious institutions across Europe, significantly contributing to our understanding of geology and geochemical processes.

Touret influenced many with his infectious enthusiasm and left an indelible mark on the scientific community.
